By creating an account in Calori or using any part of the App, you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Calori.
"We", "us", and "our" refer to Alhamad Studios, a sole proprietorship in the State of Kuwait. "You" refers to the individual using the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to digital services without a parent or guardian) to create a Calori account. By using Calori you represent that you meet this requirement.
Calori is a tool for tracking nutrition. It is not a medical device, and the App is not designed for users with eating disorders or specific medical conditions that require professional supervision of caloric intake. If that describes you, please consult a qualified healthcare provider before using Calori.
You sign in to Calori using either Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You are
responsible for maintaining the security of the underlying Apple or Google account that
authenticates you to the App, and for all activity that occurs through your Calori
account. Notify us at support@alhamadgallery.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
Calori is free to download and create an account. Without a paid subscription you can:
A subscription unlocks unlimited use of the AI-assisted features listed in Section 4.1. All other features remain available without a subscription.
New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial at the time they choose a paid plan. The trial begins when you opt in (it does not auto-start when you create an account). At the end of the trial period the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price of the plan you selected, charged through your Apple ID, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
All Calori subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (weekly, monthly, or annual) at the then-current price, charged through your Apple ID, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple
ID account settings:
iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Calori → Cancel Subscription.
Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current paid period — you keep access to Premium until the end of that period, at which point the App reverts to the free tier described in Section 4.1.
Apple is the merchant for all subscription purchases. Refund requests are handled by Apple per their refund policy, which you can find at support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
Calori uses Google's Gemini AI service to estimate the calorie and macronutrient content of meals from photos or text descriptions, and to generate a 0–10 health score for each meal. These estimates are approximations, not measurements. They may differ from actual values — sometimes substantially — and should not be relied upon as medical or dietary advice.
Calori does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you have any medical condition that requires precise tracking of caloric or macronutrient intake (including but not limited to diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, or pregnancy), consult a qualified healthcare provider before relying on the App's outputs. You use Calori's nutrition data at your own risk.
You retain all rights to the meal photos, weight logs, and other content you create inside Calori. By submitting that content to the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
This license is solely for the purpose of operating the App for you and ends when you delete the content or your account.

Calori, including the App, its visual design, code, content, trademarks, and the Calori name and logo, is owned by Alhamad Studios and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property rights to you — they only grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal use, subject to these Terms.
Calori is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutrition estimates will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alhamad Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of US$50 or the total amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alhamad Studios from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.
You may stop using Calori at any time and delete your account from inside the App (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of the State of Kuwait, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in this section limits any right you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence to bring a claim in your local courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. For material changes that affect your rights, we will surface a notice in the App so you can review the new version. Continuing to use Calori after the changes take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using the App and delete your account.
